Erin Thrash
Erin M. Thrash is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the Managing Partner of the Thrash, Carroll & Vanway Law Group. Erin has been licensed to practice law since 1982 in both Texas and Louisiana. She has focused her law practice in estate planning and asset protection where she can assist clients with difficult issues or family situations with unique, custom “solution planning” using wills, trusts, business entities and charitable gifts, trusts, foundations or a combination of these entities.

Michael Carroll
Mike was born in Port Lavaca, Texas, making him a native Texan! He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University (BBA 1980 Magna Cum Laude) and received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law (JD1982). At Baylor he served as an associate editor of the Baylor Law Review. Mike is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Real Estate Probate and Trust Section of State Bar.
Mike originally practiced mostly in the area of civil litigation. But after several years of battling for his clients in court, he began to work at keeping his clients out of court through proper planning. He soon assumed the duties of taking care of the estate planning and probate matters for employees and families at the firm where he worked, which lead him to switch the emphasis of his practice solely to estate planning, asset protection, and probate. Mike was named a 2017 Five Professional by Five Star Professionals.
Mike has served as chairman of his church Board of Trustees and its Finance Committee. He also served several terms on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity. Mike is a member of the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Lu have five children and 9 grandchildren.

Hazel Sanchez
Hazel Sanchez’s practice includes all aspects of estate planning and probate, including Wills and trusts, wealth transfer strategies, creation and succession of closely owned businesses, structuring grantor retained annuity trusts, installment sales, probate and estate administration, and estate and gift taxation. She is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Hazel received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University of New Orleans, School of Law. She was licensed in Louisiana in 1987 and in Texas in 2005.
Hazel is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest ranking for competence and ethical standards.
She is a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas, the Austin Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section, and the Texas Bar Association’s Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section.
Hazel’s philanthropic interests include the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Diocese of Austin, Texas.
She loves to spend her free time sailing, sailboat racing, snow-skiing, and hiking.

Tasha Gailys
Tasha has worked as a courtroom lawyer in Los Angeles since 2002, having handled thousands of trials. In 2024, she relocated to Lakeway where she specializes in probate cases.
Tasha graduated cum laude from UCLA in 1999 and from the University of Hawaii Law School in 2002. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

William Harlow has spent his career in estate planning, ensuring that each client gets an estate plan tailored perfectly to their needs. Outside of his practice of law, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Selma, and three children, Penelope, Theodore, and Linus. Additionally, he enjoys cooking, reading, and the outdoors.

Guy Bily
Guy Bily earned his law license in 2019 and began his career in commercial and real estate litigation and transitioned into estate planning and advising small businesses. Prior to his law practice, he worked in the construction industry. Outside of practicing law, Guy enjoys exercising, camping, listening to music, reading, and playing the violin. Guy enjoys helping both individuals and businesses plan for the future and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation at Boston University.

I graduated from the University of Texas where I received a BBA Degree and was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. I was also a proud member of the Texas Cowboy Organization. I received my JD Law Degree from the University of Houston Bates College of Law. Being licensed in both Texas and Colorado, I spent most of my career working in the Insurance and Legal professions with a focus on Estate Planning for High Net Worth Clients. I moved to the Hill Country of Texas and established an office in Horseshoe Bay with a focus on Estate Planning and Probate. This led me to an association with Thrash Carroll Vanway Law and the opportunity to represent the Firm in the Horseshoe Bay Area and Counties of Llano and Burnet.

Meagan Coleman
With over 15 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration, Meagan brings a deep knowledge of complex legal procedures and a strong commitment to client service. As a Senior Paralegal at TCS Law Group, she supports attorneys in preparing comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
Meagan works closely with clients to gather and organize critical information, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all estate documents. Her meticulous attention to detail, coupled with her ability to navigate sensitive family dynamics, makes her an invaluable asset to both clients and legal teams. She also plays a key role in trust funding, probate filings, and post-death administration, guiding clients through each step with professionalism and empathy.
Meagan holds an A.A. degree in Journalism and in her spare time she enjoys being involved with her community, spending time outdoors and proudly supporting the Texas Longhorns—especially since her son is currently attending the University of Texas. Hook ’em!

Allison Mora
Allison Mora joined our team in June of 2014 and is an estate planning Senior Paralegal for Thrash, Carroll & Vanway Law Group. In addition to providing a wide range of support to keep the office running smoothly, she enjoys working closely with our attorneys and clients to assist with information gathering and document preparation.
When Allison is not at the office she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and boating on Lake Travis with her husband and their two dogs.

Sarah joined the team at the end of 2020, and has close to 5 years’ experience as a legal assistant. In 2014, she graduated from LSU with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature & Creative Writing. One of her main duties at the firm is placing clients with the best attorney for their specific estate planning needs. She is always there to provide support and understanding for the attorneys and for their clients.
Outside of the office, when she isn’t reading fantasy novels or writing her own, she can usually be found hanging out with her close friends.
